About Hoier Resources
Hoier Resources ApS was established 1 January 2008 by Hans Hoier Nielsen.
The main activity of the company is to develop and invest in environmental projects (primarily in waste management and recycling and in energy) mainly in developing countries.
The objectives are to develop projects that are environmentally, financially and social sustainable and which will benefit the developmental efforts made by the host country.
The transfer of management know how, business know how and technical know how, providing of financing, establishing of training programmes etc. are important tools used to meet the objectives.
Furthermore the company provides consultancy services within the waste and energy sectors.
Hans Hoier Nielsen holds a business degree and an M. Sc. in Political Science.
He has had a 20 year long carrier in the energy business being employed in government agencies as well in the major energy companies in Denmark.
Since 2000 he has been in the waste management and recycling business.
In his executive career he has been working as an Economist, Energy Planner, Head of Strategic Planning, Secretary to the Group Management, Director of Business Development, Director and Managing Director.
Besides that he has held and holds several non executive positions in companies and business organisations.
